The aim of our Church
School is to offer an introduction to the Orthodox Faith
to children between the ages of three and twelve. The
materials used come from curriculum of the O.C. E.C.
(Orthodox Christian Education Committee) texts, downloads,
teaching pictures, and Icons. Other materials include the
Bible, movies, stories, songs, and games. New this year,
we are also using the “Children Orthodox Parochial School
Bulletin” published by the St. Nicholas Orthodox Christian
School (Florida).
The lessons taught go,
naturally, from the simple to the complex, based on the
level of the students.
