Announcements / Events

Your 2010 Church Calendars

are Available for You in the Church Narthex!

February 2nd 2009

The Antiochian Women will be hosting a Deli Night on February 2nd in the Church Hall at 6:30 p.m. For information, please call the Chairperson/Ticket Convener Laurie Maalouf.

Church School is OPEN

We would like to remind everyone that Church School is now open. You can still register if you have not done so already. Please do not sit in the first section of reserved pews next to Mary Jane, that section is for the Church School Children who will also soon be forming a Junior Choir. Also, from now on, the Church School Children will be the first to receive Holy Communion as they will be led downstairs immediately after to begin their lesson and activity. For any questions, please speak with the Usher on duty in the Narthex.

Home Blessings & Visits

Our Church Office is working hard on planning home visits for Fr. Mark. You will be called. You might have been called already and were not available, please call us back. Fr. Mark blesses homes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Presently, Fr. Mark is blessing homes in the Town of Mount Royal. You can also help us by calling the Church Office for an appointment.

Cemetery Visits

For those who missed-out on Fr. Mark visiting the graves of your beloved departed ones on Soul Saturday, you can call for an appointment for Fr. Mark to meet you at the Cemetery to visit the graves.

Pastoral Counseling & Confession

Any Parishioners who would like to meet with Fr. Mark for private counseling for personal or marital issues or for Confession, his door is open. Please call the Church Office and leave a message for him to call you

Hospital Visits

Any Parishioners who are in any hospitals of Montreal may not be known to Fr. Mark as the confidentiality laws forbid him in finding out who is in the hospital. If he is not called and informed that “so-and-so” is in “such-and-such” Hospital, he cannot visit and administer Prayers and Holy Communion, etc. Please contact the Church Office to inform Fr. Mark of any parishioners sick in the hospital.

Church Volunteers

At our Church Office, we sometimes need volunteers to help us out with certain projects and events. If you don’t mind being called once in a while, please call our Church Office and leave your name and phone number, and you will be called when needed. (Note: you might not be called right away).

McDonald’s Parking

Just to remind you that our Parking Agreement does not exceed that which is explained on the back cover of this bulletin for Sunday only, parking during the middle of the week at McDonalds is at your own risk.

Cedars Home for the Elderly

Volunteers are needed for Meals-On-Wheels deliveries.  For information, please call 514-383-1459.

Coffee Hour!

Coffee Hour every Sunday following the Divine Liturgy in the Church Hall - ALL ARE WELCOME!

STEP INTO THE FUTURE STAIR CAMPAIGN

This campaign was originally inaugurated to help defray the cost of the replacement of the stairs leading up to our church. The original concrete base of the old stairs and its covering had to be replaced with a new concrete base and new granite steps.  Read More >>>
